Happy Now Mom was born from my personal journey raising my son, who has autism, speech/language challenges, and ADHD. Following his diagnosis, I found myself facing an incredibly complex, confusing web of school systems, state programs, and endless paperwork.
Instead of backing down, I chose to master the system. I spent years fighting for, refining, and successfully navigating:
School Support: IEPs, behavioral plans, and classroom accommodations.
State Funding: Regional Center services and California’s Self-Determination Program (SDP).
Home Assistance: IHSS (In-Home Supportive Services) and securing 24-Hour Protective Supervision.
